Plan Availability

Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D plan availability varies by county and state. Not all plans are available in all areas. Premiums, copays, coinsurance, and deductibles vary based on the plan you select. The benefit information provided is a brief summary, not a complete description of benefits.

Enrollment Information

Enrollment in a Medicare plan depends on contract renewal. Enrollment periods include:

  • Initial Enrollment Period (IEP): 7-month period around your 65th birthday
  • Annual Enrollment Period (AEP): October 15 – December 7 each year
  • Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period: January 1 – March 31
  • Special Enrollment Periods (SEP): Based on qualifying life events

Medicare Supplement Plans

Medicare Supplement (Medigap) insurance policies are not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government or the federal Medicare program. These policies have limitations, exclusions, and terms under which the policy may be continued in force or discontinued.

Pre-Existing Conditions

Medicare Supplement policies may have a six-month pre-existing condition waiting period. During your Medigap Open Enrollment Period, you cannot be denied coverage or charged more due to pre-existing conditions.
